Uncomfortable truth #1. Nobody wants to buy your stuff. They will only pay money for something that helps their business to work better, or to help them do their job more efficiently or effectively. They especially don’t want to buy your technology. Technology more often than not creates more problems for the customer than it solves.
So what do you need to do, to develop an effective product strategy?

Uncomfortable truth #2. Even if you get your product/service proposition spot-on, they still won’t buy from you. Unless they are comfortable with the idea of doing business with you. Generally, unless your brand is very strong, your potential customers will perceive risk in doing business with you, especially for the first time.
So what are these perceived-risk barriers, and how do you overcome them?
